The fourth season stars Chris Rock, who plays the head of a crime syndicate made up of black migrants fleeing the Jim Crow South who have a contentious relationship with the Kansas City mafia. It is set in 1950 Kansas City, Missouri.
Chernobyl dramatizes the story of the April 1986 nuclear plant disaster which occurred in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union, telling the stories of the people who caused the disaster and those who responded to it. The series depicts some of the lesser-known stories of the disaster, including the efforts of the firefighters who were the first responders on the scene, volunteers, and teams of miners tasked with digging a critical tunnel under Reactor 4.
The plot follows young artist Walter Hartright who one night comes across a ghostly woman dressed white, lost in London. After this encounter, he is hired as a drawing master by Frederick Fairlie to teach his niece Laura and her devoted half-sister, Marian. Walter moves to Limmeridge House in Cumbria where he and Laura – who bears a striking resemblance to the ghostly woman – start to fall in love but Laura is engaged to the abusive Sir Percival Glyde. While in Limmeridge, Walter realises that the mysterious woman in white he saw is connected to the family.
Adventurer James Keziah Delaney returns to London during the War of 1812 to rebuild his late father’s shipping empire. However, both the government and his biggest competitor want his inheritance at any cost – even murder.
